Dato’ Tan Hock San @ Tan Hock Ming

Dato’ Tan Hock San @ Tan Hock Ming is the Chairman of the Board. He also holds the post of President of FSBM Holdings Bhd.

Dato’ Tan is the founder of FSBM.  

He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) degree from University of London. He has over 36 years experience in Information and Communication Technology. Prior to the founding of the Company, he had served in several large corporations including IBM World Trade Corporation, Exxon Production Malaysia Incorporation, HRM Sdn Bhd and Business Computers Sdn Bhd.

Being one of the pioneers in the computer industry in Malaysia, and with his extensive experience, he is well positioned to gauge the direction of the industry as a whole. He is pivotal in setting the overall direction of the Company and has successfully listed the Company on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in October 1994. As President of the Company, he steers the development and growth of the subsidiaries’ business.
