Dato’ Jaffar Bin Ahmad Indot

Dato’ Jaffar was appointed to the Board on 7 December 1990. He has attended the Harvard Business School International Senior Managers Programme.

Dato’ Jaffar has a distinguished career with Shell for 33 years. He served Shell in various capacities and is currently a Director of Shell Refining Company Bhd. He has also been appointed to the Board of Guiness Anchor Bhd, CYGAL Bhd, Tai Wah Garments Manufacturing Bhd and various other companies, some of which he is still serving as member of the Board.

Dato’ Jaffar is also active in other non-commercial rganizations such as Federation of Family Planning Association, Victoria Institute Old Boys Association, Malaysian Aids Foundation and Yayasan Proton.

Seah Fook Chin

Mr Seah Fook Chin was appointed to the Board on 17 December 1993. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Mr Seah was formally with the RHB Group, serving them in various capacities. He was in the Board of Rashid Hussain Bhd, RHB Capital Bhd and RHB Securities Sdn Bhd. Prior to joining the RHB Group, he was the General Manager, Finance Services of Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Bhd.

Chin Yoke Mooi @ Chin Soo Noei

Ms Chin Yoke Mooi @ Chin Soo Noei was appointed to the Board on 17 December 1993. She is a Barrister-at-Law and a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She was called to the English Bar in 1968 and to the Malaysia Bar in 1969.

Ms Chin continues to be in active practice in law

Dr Azman Bin Awang

Dr Azman Bin Awang was appointed to the Board on 31 March 2004. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from University Malaya, a Masters in Urban Planning from New York University and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Industrial Economics from Reading University UK. He is a member of the American Planning Association (USA), international member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (UK) and corporate member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners.

Dr Azman has a distinguished career with University Technology Malaysia. He was the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic where he retired in 2003. He continues to serve as Adjunct Professor with International Islamic University, external examiner with University Kebangsaan Malaysia and University Malaya and external assessor with University Kebangsaan Malaysia and University Sains Malaysia. He also served in various major development projects for State of Johor, Malaysian Multimedia Super Corridor and the United Nations Environmental Program.
